Jana Gana Mana from Major inspires

Adivi Sesh's Major is racing for a spectacular release across the country on June 3, 2022. The film directed by Shahikiran Thikka is a biopic on Major Sundeep Unnikrishnan who was martyred during the 26/11 Mumbai Attacks. The film's premiers across the country got tremendous response from all quarters and expectations are soaring for the film at the box office. 

In the meantime, the makers today released the song, Jana Gana Mana. The song. gives an answer to a question- ‘What is it meant to be a soldier?’ During childhood, Sandeep Unnikrishnan sees the navy’s exercise and that’s the first moment in his life that instigates him to serve the country. It then traces the Braveheart’s journey in the army to his heroics in the tragic incidents of Mumbai terrorists’ attack. Major’s reply to his dad’s question about soldiers is thought-provoking.

Music is scored by Sricharan Pakala and the song is sung by Tojo Baby while lyrics are penned by Rajiv Bharadwaj . Saiee Manjrekar, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, Revathi, and Murli Sharma are playing important roles and the film is bankrolled on Sony Pictures India, G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment, and A+S Movies banners.
