When composer S Thaman, lyricist Ramajogaiah Sastry and singer Armaan Malik teamed up last time for Butta Bomma in Alaa Vaikunthapuramulo, the song found a place in the history books and caught the fascination of music lovers beyond all barriers. Well, the hit team has now returned for another big film, Vakeel Saab, for a heart-warming melody, Kanti Papa, that was released earlier this evening.
Amid all the high expectations, the combination has lived upto the hype. Armaan’s breezy vocals provide a fine start to the song and Thaman’s good hook element lends it solid momentum in the nick of time. Ramajogaiah Sastry’s lyrics use simple words that emphasise how the protagonist dreams of a rosy future with the love of his life. The song will be featured in the flashback portions of Pawan Kalyan’s character, where he’ll be seen alongside Shruti Haasan.
There are a host of popular voices that add lustre to the song – Deepu, Geetha Madhuri, Sahiti, Sruthi Ranjani, Haarika Narayan, Srinidhi, ML Gayathri, Nayana Nayar and Sruthi ML. Besides, the semi-classical orchestration complements the number beautifully and gives it a soulful touch. Thaman’s solid form continues is what we can confirm. Vakeel Saab, written and directed by Venu Sriraam, will hit theatres on April 9.
