Sye Raa Not Repeating Saaho Mistake There

One of the major reasons for Young Rebel Star Prabhas’s high budget entertainer Saaho becoming a dud at USA box office is the poor planning from the overseas distributor. They allotted more theaters to Hindi versions, rather than the Telugu version which needed extensive release. Apparently, they wanted to cash on Baahubali craze.

But, the fact is Telugu market is huge compared to Hindi market in USA. More importantly, Telugus wish to watch Telugu version, but not the Hindi version. Due to other factors as well, Saaho ended as a disaster in USA.

Seems like, makers of mega star Chiranjeevi are not willing to repeat the same mistake. They have told overseas distributors to occupy maximum theaters to Telugu version and allot limited screens for Hindi version. This strategy will definitely help Sye Raa to open big in overseas.

In fact, pre-sales of Syee Raa are on a rampage. The pre-sales as of now is $261,647 from 167 locations with per location average of $1,577. Trade pundits predict the pre-sales may cross half a million mark by the end of Friday (today).

Directed by Surender Reddy, Sye Raa is all set for grand release on October 2nd with premiere shows in USA and other locations on 1st.
