Super Star Rajinikanth's upcoming entertainer 2.0 directed by Shankar is one of the most awaited movie across the world. Shankar is gunning to blast the Baahubali bastion with 2.0, which is a sequel for Rajini's blockbuster Robot.

The film which was supposed to release during Diwali, last year however got delayed continuously and finally is getting ready for release on Nov 29. In between, news came about its release in Nov 2017, Jan 2019 and April 2018. This disappointed the diehard fans of Rajinikanth and even movie lovers who have been waiting eagerly for the most expensive film in Asia.

Now Shankar revealed that the bird delayed the release of 2.0. It is known that a bird in the teaser is creating sensation wreaking havoc. He said the visual effects in creating the bird delayed the film as he was not satisfied with the various outputs.

He said one third of the film's budget was spent on visual effects and of that major part was spent on the visual effects of the bird. He said in the beginning the bird shape didn’t come as expected and so he was not satisfied. He added that the first VFX company with whom the makers entered into agreement, didn’t come up with quality output and failed to deliver on time.
