Give this Director one Rupee and he will give you more than that at any given point of time. His magical touch to every movie takes you into altogether a different world and his target is to produce an Indian movie with a budget of Rs.1000 crores!

You might be slowly getting on the name of this director. Yes, he is macho magician Shankar who is ready to make Robot’s walk, talk and fight to make money for producers. After his first movie ‘Gentleman,’ cost of his projects have increased in a geometrical proportion from Rs. 5 crores on ‘Premikudu’ to Rs. 110 crores on ‘Robot.’   

Not just the expenditure even the returns went on the same lines. If ‘Premikudu’ collected a whopping Rs. 23 crores, ‘Bhaarateeyudu’ cost was Rs. 13 crores and collected Rs. 32 crores, if ‘Aparichithudu’ cost was Rs. 32 crores it collected Rs. 65 crores and lastly budget for ‘Shivaji’ was Rs. 60 crores and collections went onto a range of Rs. 130 crores.

Now, Shankar’s yet to release movie ‘Robot’ is allocated a budget of Rs. 110 crores and cine sources are hoping that movie may collect Rs. 300 crores. What are these figures??? Is he a man or money machine…but ‘Robot’ with Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai is true to prove the caliber of Shankar and the strength of Indian cinema to entire world!!!
