Exclusive: Rana Takes SP Responsibilities

Daggubati Ramanaidu had once produced many blockbuster films under Ramanaidu Studios. He was the Guinness Book record holder for producing highest number of films by an individual. He produced more than 150 films in 13 Indian languages.

Surprisingly, the same production house has almost stopped making films in recent times. Suresh Babu who took the responsibility from his father is concentrating on distribution, finance and other businesses related to cinema. It’s been long since Suresh Babu directly produced a film, although he released few movies in the meantime under the banner.

We reliably learnt that, Suresh Babu’s elder son and actor Rana Daggubati has now taken the responsibility to oversee Suresh Productions from his father. Rana is said to have lined up many projects to be made under Suresh Productions in next three years. All these projects will be directed by young and talented filmmakers.

What’s more, Rana is also sitting in the story discussions for the films he is setting up for Suresh Productions for next three years. It is known that, before making his debut as hero with Leader, Rana looked after production and other works related to Suresh Productions.

It is really a tough job for Rana to balance both his acting career as well as production works!
