Biopic on legendary actress Savitri titled Mahanati is creating sensation at the box office mesmerizing movie lovers across the world. Mahanati directed by Nag Ashwin, showcased Savitri's rise to stardom and her downfall in a terrific manner creating a powerful impact. Movie lovers are spellbound by the reel and real life romance of Gemini Ganesan and Savitri. 

Now it is coming out that Gemini Ganeshan and his wife Pushpavalli's daughter expressed her wish to see Mahanati. Gemini Ganeshan's first daughter is none other than popular Bollywood actress Rekha.

Rekha ever since the biopic was launched showed her curiosity but made discreet enquiries. Now that the film is released and is doing well, she through her sister Radha made the producers know that she is interested in watching the film. The question is when the makers will arrange for a special screening for her.
