Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh landed in huge controversy with many fringe groups like Karni Sena from Rajasthan and other Rajput organisations opposed the film release tooth and nail accusing the filmmakers of twisting the facts and insulting Rani Padmavati showing her in a derogatory manner.
Tempers are running high over the film release and the CBFC screening has been put off twice till now. In the midst of all this, another film on Padmavati is getting ready to entertain movie lovers.
The film titled Main Hoon Padmavati is penned by a writer from Rajasthan taking into consideration the views of those opposing Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Producer Ashok Sekhar says the film will be in Hindi and Rajastani and feature new comers. He said the film's shooting will start from mid January in Rajasthan under the guidance of the opponents of SLB's Padmavathi.
