Director Ar Murugadoss is familiar at commercializing contemporary social issues carrying valuable message to the society. From the very beginning of his career in Tamil films, he made a name and fame of his own in the good books of South and North Indian cinema. His latest flick Spyder starring Mahesh Babu, SJ Suryah in leads also has one such precious record to communicate with audience.

Nearly ten years back into the memory lane, Murugadoss stepped into Tollywood and directed Mega Star Chiranjeevi on Stalin which failed to kick the Box Office with desired result. Into the present, Spyder is ARM’s second direct Telugu flick and how different was it to work first with Mega Star and then Super Star.

‘Stalin is made with overdosed commerciality that backfired because Chiranjeevi garu is a huge star and we bombarded the script more with his heroism. For Spyder, we did not do any such feats and just went in-line with what script has demanded. You won’t find any extra heroism in the character written for the sake of Mahesh Babu who being a super star,’ ARM replied straightly.
