Mahesh Babu recommending a singer!

Well known singer and Hyderabad boy Karunya who rose to fame with ‘Indian Idol,’ a singing reality show is picking up good opportunities these days. This 23 year old has now become the voice of Andhra Pradesh through the song, ‘Phir Mile Sur Mera Tumhara’ which is the latest version of National Integrity song ‘Mile Sur Mera Tumahara.’

All excited singer Karunya said that, 'I feel privileged that I was chosen among all my contemporaries to be the voice of Andhra Pradesh in a remake of a song that once had the nation hooked. I got a call from Kailash Surendranath’s office asking me if I would want to take up this project. I was recommended by Mahesh Babu for whom I'd sung earlier in Sainikudu. We recorded my bit in just one go.’

Karunya feels that Andhra Pradesh was represented much well in this version and Mahesh Babu as usual has given good screen presence.
