Tamil hero Suriya is never considered as an outsider by Telugu audience. Right from ‘Ghajini’ till the last release ‘24,’ his adaptability with wide range of scripts is welcomed with open hands in Tollywood. Apparently, Suriya made an official statement expressing his willingness to act in a direct Telugu film and discussions are underway with star director Trivikram Srinivas.
The way critics and common audience voted for Suriya with ‘24’ by giving thumbs up higher over Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu’s latest failures, this is considered as the best time for Suriya to begin his groundwork. There’s no dearth for producers because his home production banners of 2D Entertainments or Studio Green can bankroll. It’s the matter of locking a script, allotment of call sheets and then zeroing on a Telugu director.
Of late, all Tamil heroes including that of Vijay Antony (Bichagadu) is enjoying the love and adoration from Telugu patrons. So, this can be the time… they have to try bi-lingual products rather than releasing the subservient quality dubbing films. Will Suriya set this new trend?
