Venky Confidence on Rise

When an experiment gives positive result, obviously the confidence of all those people associated with the experiment will be boosted up. Looks like ‘Drishyam’ has given a much needed moral boost for hero Venkatesh and producer Suresh Babu because the film is doing extremely good in all the centers with record collections to be noted down in Venky’s career. More or less, ‘Drishyam’ should be seen as a clean and neat experiment of mixing non-commercial murder mystery elements with family values in a middle class environmental setup. Although a remake, Sri Priya has done her best as director to make the movie look so authentic with Telugu nativity.   

This confidence boosting film has now made Venkatesh to experiment with a mookie (silent) movie in direction of Ashok (‘Pilla Zamindar’ and ‘Sukumarudu’ fame). Although this combination was in discussion stages from long time, ‘Drishyam’ pushed it forward. As soon as Venky gives his nod for the script, shooting will be commenced.
