Baba Saved Mohan Babu

Dwaraka Peetam Sankaracharya Swaroopananda Swami’s controversial comments on Shirdi Sai Baba aren’t going well with the masses. Swaroopananda commented that Sai Baba is not a god and he is a normal human being who was non vegetarian and belonged to Muslim community. So, he recommended the Hindu people to stop worshipping Sai Baba who is not an incarnation of Almighty in any form. However, Collection King Mohan Babu who happens to be a strong devotee of Baba reacted ferociously for degrading Sai.

‘As a Hindu, I am deeply hurt with Swami’s comments. Many of the devotees visiting Shirdi have witnessed the magical power of Sai and I am one among them. I am worshipping Sai from 1985 and since then miracles happened in my life. May it be super hits like ‘Alludu Garu’ and ‘Assembly Rowdy’ or a narrow escape from bomb blast during ‘Sree Ramulayya’ shooting! I believe in Baba and request Swamiji not to make such insulting remarks again because people cutting across religions, castes and nationalities are pouring to Shirdi,’ Mohan Babu said.
