Director Gives Credit to Cameraman

Very rarely do we see directors like Surender Reddy who got emotional on ‘Race Gurram’ success stage celebrations doesn’t mind giving the lion share of success credits to his cameraman Manoj Paramahamsa. Yes, while speaking to a media channel Surender Reddy said that without Manoj’s camera work, there would have been no chance of movie getting a grandeur look and feel.

‘Story of ‘Race Gurram’ is compact and entire narration runs only in and around Hyderabad. So, there was no chance to show extra-ordinariness in camera work. Once when I approached Manoj, he requested me to add few more richness elements into script and also wanted my producer to spend extra bucks in acquiring costly technical equipment. If Nallamalupu Bujji wouldn’t have accepted for this deal, then there would have been no Manoj in the crew. Finally, when audiences are talking so much about Manoj’s work in visuals, he should get the credit,’ Surender Reddy said.
