Sekhar Kammula Takes the '1' Beating

Maverick film maker Sekhar Kammula’s unnecessary poking into the social networking war between Samanta and Mahesh Babu Fans on ‘1 Nenokkadine’ movie poster is giving him the heat for now. As we all know, Sam posted some ‘Regressive’ tweets on Kriti Sanon and Mahesh Babu’s look on ‘1’ movie poster released some time ago. While Mahesh Babu Fans took to sever measures giving Sam sleepless nights, now the sudden support from Sekhar Kammula to Sam is also not seen in positive light by Fans.

‘Just saw the poster of 1 Nenokkadine and read what Samantha tweeted.......I share the same views....it is regressive, no doubt about it...but what is shocking is the ruckus that is being created against her.......Its her opinion and she has every right to express it...and it has nothing to do with Mahesh Babu. Its how a woman has been projected on a poster and how she felt about it. This is not the first time we have seen posters like this or films that portray woman regressively but its heartening to see a main stream heroine react. Manam brathike unnam anna feeling ecchindi... hats off Samantha for actually starting a debate...this is good for our industry...it’s a great sign.... When a top heroine sees a poster and feels that women are shown regressively, it is time for all of us to think about it rather than attack her.
