Chakri Pleads his Innocence

Music director Chakri and producer Paruchuri Prasad are in a fix with yesterday’s evoking of Nirbhaya Act for misbehaving with one of the women guests who attended the friendship party organized at Chakri’s office. The 36 year old lady from Begumpet area is a close family friend of Chakri and has been invited personally for the party. ‘When I went there they started misbehaving with me in drunken state. However, Chakri later apologized while Prasad outraged my modesty and did not even apologize. So, I approached police and lodged the complaint,’ the victim said.

‘There was a brawl between the woman and few others who were trying to take her photograph. As the incident occurred in my office, I took care by requesting them to go out of office. I was not at all drunk and did not misbehave with anybody,’ for the first time Chakri reacted on filing of Nirbhaya Act against him. Police are currently investigating the case on receiving the complaint.
