Fans protest against sale of 'Shadow' tickets in black

Accusing the managements of selling the tickets of 'Shadow' film in black, the fans of actor Venkatesh went into a frenzy on Friday morning damaging the seats and furniture of the three cinema halls.

Violent protests were reported from Bhuma, Jagath and Vikyath theaters where the film was being screened. The Fans, who waited in queue since morning, lost temper after they were told by the managements that the tickets were sold out. Agitated fans pelted stones, tore cut outs and even barged into a theatre and damaged the seats and furniture.

On information, police rushed to the theatres and the angry fans were pacified with the assurance of management the tickets would be sold to them.

Venkatesh's 'Shadow' co-starring, Tapsi, Srikanth, and directed by Meher Ramesh, hit the theaters across the world on Friday.
