Idiot - Heroine enters into Politics

Buxom beauty Rakshita debuted in Telugu films with Puri Jagannath’s ‘Idiot’ starring besides Raviteja is a popular name in Kannada circles. After her getting married to sensational director Prem, she temporarily took break from heroine characters to become a producer. Off late, there has been news on Rakshita willing to join politics and that has come true now.

Reports say that Rakshita aligned herself with political outfit launched by Sri Ramulu, an MLA very close to former Karnataka Minister Janardhan Reddy. He even defeated BJP’s candidate in by-elections to Bellary Assembly there by floating his own party called ‘Swabhimana Paksha Party.’ Along with husband Prem and her mother, Rakshita joined this Party on her 5th Marriage Anniversary.
