Like Darwin’s theory of the fittest survives has to be re-looked into as only the big ticket films land up for important occasions while the small films suffer. Same is happening with Telangana flick ‘Inkennallu,’ produced, acted and directed by Rafi. Nevertheless ‘Businessman’ occupying maximum number of screens (around 1300 in Andhra Pradesh) made few small films face the wrath.

Producers Council went to Chief Minister with a representation stating that no dubbing film should be released for important festivals and small budget pictures getting postponed due to delay in post production works made only the big banners remain in the race of Pongal. On the other side, here is small picture ‘Inkennallu’ which has Telangana agitation as a backdrop could not get the desired theatres, number wise and area wise. Rafi is taking up politically complaining that 80 to 90% of the theatres are controlled by a handful of people in Tollywood and films are released, screened according to their own whims and fancies.

‘Some films run for 50 days even without crowds while some films do not get theatres,’ this is what the hero of ‘Inkennallu’ says.
