Andhra Pradesh is launching the Global Horticulture Hub – Rayalaseema Rising project to transform Rayalaseema into a major national and international horticulture centre. The ₹1 lakh crore initiative will focus on production, processing and exports, with the formal launch scheduled in Madanapalle today, on October 2 in the presence of Central Finance Minister Nirmala Seetharaman along with AP Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan.The State plans to mobilise ₹40,000 crore through public investment over the next three to four years and attract nearly ₹60,000 crore from private investors through the PPP model. The programme will cover 201 horticulture clusters across 10 districts, creating integrated production, processing, storage and marketing ecosystems.The master plan targets expansion of horticultural cultivation to 14.41 lakh hectares and aims to improve incomes for around 9.6 lakh farmers. Proposed investments include ₹20,884 crore for irrigation, ₹14,906 crore for horticulture and ₹4,562 crore for rural roads, alongside substantial private sector participation.The project proposes creating new irrigation potential for nine lakh acres while stabilising another 4.3 lakh acres. Continuing his tirade against Congress, TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu has said that Congress was patronising liquor mafia and is a part of it.
&ldquo;Congress leaders were working in tandem with liquor mafia and were bent on raising revenue at the cost of morals and putting heavy burden on the people,&rdquo; he said while addressing a public meeting here on Tuesday.
The government should disclose ACB report immediately and book criminal cases against those involved in the liquor scam which runs into Rs 5,000 crores, he said while addressing a gathering at Tali Agraharam in Guruvali mandal as part of his two days visit to Kuppam Assembly constituency.
Development has taken a backseat due to most inefficiency of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, he alleged.
Charging the State Government with indifference and neglect towards development activities in Kuppam Assembly segment, Naidu reiterated that TDP would stand besides the farmers till they get justice and agriculture is turned into a profitable avocation.
&ldquo;Farmers are unable to continue their profession due to frequent power cuts and the government&rsquo;s proposal to hike power tariff to net Rs 10,000 crore will be a burden on the farmers,&rdquo; he said.
With cost of inputs increasing, Naidu said, the farmers in the state are in a confused state with the government not announcing remunerative price for their produce.
He urged the Government to simplify the credit policy to benefit the women and farmers as well and give no room for micro finance companies to play havoc with the vulnerable sections.

He starts the narration in an interesting manner and till the introduction of the lead actor, the intensity is maintained in a perfect manner.However, the romantic track slowed the pace of the narration and the story goes nowhere. It comes back to the track with the conflict between the hero and the villian and also the mother-son emotional bonding. The intensity reaches its peaks during the pre interval block before setting the stage for the second half.The second half continues in the same manner with protagonist and antagonist baying for each other's blood and the oppressed sect fighting for recognition. It also boils down whether they should fight for the recognition or for the survival to live another day to continue the fight. The film ends in a predictable tone with many cinematic liberties taken and missing logics hampering the realistic feel.Right after the start, one gets a feeling that something is a miss. Most of the scenes are included and shot only to give elevations. Though the start and introduction of the protagonist increase the curiosity levels, the same is not maintained in the next scenes. Kayadu Lohar's characterisation looked extremely odd and the introduction of Raghav Juyal looks absurd. The scenes of son hating mother is also not established properly. The mother's love for son should have been established in a different manner than selling herself to cure his fever. The interval episode after all the hype, looked normal.The second half picks up pace thanks to the protagonist's decision. However with the scenes turning monotonous and routine ,one cannot travel with them. The role of MLA similar to KCR generates interest. The way the Govt brands the oppressed people as terrorists smacks of logic. Same is the case with the pre climax and climax which turned out to be below average. After the intense start, Srikanth Odela turned the narration into a predictable one with romantic elements etc. Couple of scenes in the first half stand and except that , it does not offer anything new and high. He tried to elevate the mother-son sentiment but the scenes do not connect chords as they looked forced and disappeared in the intense action sequences.In his quest to take Nani's mass image to the next level, Srikanth Odela did not concentrate on the story, screenplay and direction. The first half ends on an interesting note with few surprising revelations setting the tone for the second half.The second half goes further into murders and drugs etc. The first half included a song to highlight the father-daughter sentiment but it failed to generated the required emotions. The song placement looked odd and out of sync. They could have easily done away with the song.The main villian revelation did not excite anyone as the director failed to keep the viewers engaged with the suspense till the end. Viewers can easily guess the villian even before the end of the first half thus diluting the intensity levels in the second half. Many such films came earlier and the narration dragged with the routine breakup story of Karthik testing the patience of the viewers. The interval twist turns out to be decent and the second half turns little racy. But the predictable elements robbed the viewers of the excitement.Though few scenes in the runup to the finding of Meghana looked good, the weak villian turned out to be the main drawback. The climax ends on a routine note with an action sequence. Her well endowed figure and her ample assets fetched her many roles in films. Namitha at one time was on of the most sought after heroine in Telugu as well as Tamil. Namitha is now no longer in contention. She has lost her sex appeal and it is largely due to her out of shape figure. Namitha did try to shed some weight but with little success.
