'Dookudu' beats 'Oosaravelli'

Satellite rights for Telugu movies are rising to new highs with each movie. Particularly, if you have star hero and a star director in hand then movie is to fetch you as high as Rs.3 to 5 Crores easily. We have seen two big budget releases of the season viz. Mahesh Babu’s ‘Dookudu’ and Junior NTR’s ‘Oosaravelli’ doing a mind blowing business on TV.

As per the reliable reports ‘Oosaravelli’ satellite rights are bagged by Gemini TV for a whopping sum of Rs.5.5 Crores while MAA TV got ‘Dookudu’ for Rs.7 Crores. The first deal is completed on paper while second is in final stages of closing discussions. Along with star war at BO for coming Dasara we are witnessing star fight even in these TV rights race.
