'I am not a Soft Porn Star'

Artists tend to become very careful when playing the roles inspired from real life characters. They try to grasp mannerisms or behavior of that particular personality whom they are wearing the skin of. Vidya Balan in alluring avatar as Silk Smitha in ‘The Dirty Picture’ might get tagged as ‘Soft Porn Star,’ given her boldness presented in the first look of film.

While Silk Smitha has often been referred with the title, Vidya feels that audience would not attach that title for her. ‘I am just playing the character of Vijaya Lakshmi. There is no possibility of me tagged with any such title. I am trying to add one more shade to my self as an actor,’ said the Vidya on reprising the role of yesteryear seductress Silk Smitha.
