English people can make any strangest of the items worth saleable. Now, they have put a price tag even for LOVE. Yes, the love of Elizabeth Taylor (who died in March) towards William Pawley is measured in terms of money. A bunch of more than 60 unpublished love letters written by Taylor to Pawley are auctioned by RR Auction House in London this week for $47,652 (nearly Rs.22 Lakhs).

These costly love letters were written in 1949 when Taylor was just 17 years old and engaged to William Pawley Jr., son of a wealthy businessman. Taylor and Pawley were engaged for less than a year and never married. That is what English Love is made up of.
