Publicity is an important segment in marketing, which is used to create interest and awareness in customers on various products. Film industry survives only on publicity. If there is no publicity for a particular film, it is almost considered as a dead material. One such instance that came as an eye opening example is ‘Teen Maar.’

Official and authorized publicity content like trailers and photos of a movie are released to media through the network of Public Relation Officer working for that particular producer or for that particular film. For example, video content like trailers and teasers of a movie are mostly uploaded by respective media agencies into their own servers or Youtube accounts.

Growing online piracy and DVD quality movies available on internet with illegal accounts from the very next day of release has become a curse for film industry. Producers, distributors and exhibitors are incurring heavy losses with this ruthless piracy. One such man concerned is producer Ganesh Babu in order to oppress this kind of illegal ‘Teen Maar’ content on internet seems to have appointed a team of technocrats who opened a youtube account in the name of Parameswara Arts.

Instead of killing the piracy content of ‘Teen Maar,’ this team started destroying the promotional substance available on net. Without the interference of Copyright Infringement, this incompetent team started to attack the youtube accounts of various entertainment portals like Idlebrain, Teluguone, Cinejosh and few more, erasing the licensed promotional content present in these accounts.

Murdering the publicity entities directly asserts to slaughtering of movie by self. Producer Ganesh Babu, if unaware about this inept work from his piracy control team should take immediate measures before all the promotional volumes on net are cleaned up. It is just against the very basic sense of publicity. Even other Producers should take enough care on finding the means to kill piracy but not the boosters of publicity!
