Crime Maharaja Ravi Teja Teams Up With Vivek Athreya For Thulabaram
Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and director Vivek Athreya have joined forces for their upcoming film Thulabaram, officially launched with a grand pooja ceremony. Produced by Laxman and Srini Rao under Bridge Productions, the project brings together Ravi Teja’s energetic screen presence and Vivek Athreya’s distinctive approach to storytelling.
The makers introduced the title through an inventive video called The Title Documentary, released by My Home Ram. Using humour and playful storytelling, the announcement follows the team’s entertaining journey towards choosing the film’s unusual title. The video has also sparked curiosity about this crime drama and the fresh cinematic combination behind it.
Ravi Teja’s familiar Mass Maharaja image takes a playful turn as the announcement introduces him as the Crime Maharaja, hinting at a different side of the actor. The video also reveals key characters, including Tharun Bhascker as Devaraj, Priyanka Mohan as Krishnaveni, Anaswara Rajan as Sound, JD Chakravarthy as Sivaji Rao, Anil Karella as Jadeja and Ravi Anthony as Robin.
The launch ceremony saw VV Vinayak hand over the script, while Chandu switched on the camera and Sree Vishnu sounded the clapboard. Shiva Nirvana and Bobby directed the first shot. Vivek Sagar composes the music, Theni Eswar ISC handles cinematography, Raviteja Girijala edits the film, and GM Sekhar leads production design. Shooting is expected to begin soon, with further details awaited.
