The romantic comedy has benefited from the Onam festive season, positive audience response and steady theatrical occupancy, emerging as one of the notable Malayalam successes of 2026.
The film registering an impressive 84.4% occupancy indicating that audience interest remained strong even after the opening weekend and giving the film encouraging momentum for its second week. The film’s reported ₹5 crore opening day gross developed into a strong first week run, helped by favourable word of mouth and the Onam holiday period
According to the reported territory wise figures, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit has earned approximately ₹63 crore from India and another ₹67 crore from overseas markets, taking its worldwide total to around ₹130 crore. The overseas contribution has been particularly impressive, highlighting the film’s popularity among Malayalam speaking audiences and the wider Indian diaspora.
With weekday collections remaining healthy, the movie has a realistic opportunity to continue its theatrical journey strongly. Its upcoming Telugu release on September 4, could further widen its audience base and improve overall box-office prospects.
