Nagababu Takes Charge As AP Green Executive Committee Chairman

Jana Sena Party MLC Konidela Nagababu officially assumed charge as Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Andhra Pradesh Society for Greening and Reforestation for Ecological Enrichment, known as AP Green, on Friday. The programme was held at Aranya Bhavan in Mangalagiri, where Nagababu attended with his wife Padmaja for the occasion.
Before formally taking charge, Nagababu performed special prayers in the presence of Vedic scholars. Following the rituals, the priests offered him Vedic blessings. The AP Green Society has been established as part of the Andhra Pradesh government’s ambitious environmental vision to increase forest and tree cover to 50% of the state’s geographical area by 2047. Nagababu has been given Cabinet rank status in his new position, highlighting the importance attached to the organisation and its long term environmental goals.
After Nagababu assumed office, senior forest department officials and representatives from various state bodies met him and extended their congratulations. PCCF P.V. Chalapathi Rao, Additional PCCF Rahul Pandey, Forest Department Adviser Mallikarjuna Rao and several other officials presented bouquets and conveyed their best wishes, marking the beginning of his new responsibilities with AP Green.
