AP teachers accuse Irumudi makers of insulting them. Mass Raja Ravi Teja's recent release Irumudi directed by Shiva Nirvana is getting good response at the box office. The film is becoming the highest grosser in Ravi Teja's career.

Even as the makers are celebrating and are over the moon with the film's success, the film landed in controversy. The Andhra Pradesh Teachers Federation accused the makers of insulting the teachers and demanded the removal of those scenes immediately.

It is known that the film showed a school in Alluri Sitha Rama Raju district and Swasika Vijay played the principal in a highly negative and demeaning manner. The leaders Chennupati Manjula and Basavalingarao demanded removal of those scenes as the school name was also shown as Sileru Zilla Parishad High School and also it portrayed government schools in an insulting manner.

They warned to launch state wide protests if the makers donot respond to their demands. The makers are yet to react to the controversy.
