The Tamil remake of Bollywood action hit Kill has stalled after Dhruv Vikram reportedly walked out. The actor was set to lead the project, but months of pre-production delays led to his exit, sources say. The production house has not confirmed the development yet.

Producers are said to be upset over the repeated setbacks and sudden withdrawal. Reports suggest they may approach the Tamil Film Producers Council for intervention regarding the delays and casting change. Kill was acquired for a Tamil version due to its success as a high-octane, critically praised action thriller.

Dhruv Vikram has already shifted focus to his next film, tentatively titled DV4. The commercial entertainer is backed by Mythri Movie Makers and directed by Karan Arvind Kumar. Shooting for the new project has begun, signaling a fresh start for the actor.

With Dhruv out, the future of the Kill remake is unclear. Makers now need to find a new lead to revive the project. Trade buzz indicates several young Tamil stars are being considered, but no official casting announcement has been made so far.
