But first, I need to understand what my current market value is. Also, a reputed director must be interested in working with me. So far, nearly a hundred members of my family have watched it. They were all pleasantly surprised. Many of them expected me to make a film focused solely on promoting myself. However, after seeing the story and content, everyone was genuinely shocked.Among today's heroes, whom do you admire?I like the work being done by Nani and Sharwanand. They consistently choose good characters and films. I enjoyed Court very much. The young actor in Little Hearts performed really well. I also greatly liked Chiranjeevi garu's role in Man Shankara Varaprasad Garu.What kind of projects do you plan to do next?At present, I am focusing on solo hero projects and would like to continue doing them. He started the narration in an interesting manner and from then on he maintained a steady pace through out the film till the end.The developments in the then Government, RBI, political circles, opposition parties and how common people reacted are depicted in a perfect and effective manner. The measures taken by the RBI and the opposition faced by the governor during the meetings and the pressures from the government and the coalition politics is highlighted in an interesting way with the tight screenplay. The first half ends with the challenges of the governor becoming bigger and the second half shows how the RBI staff and top officials as a team join hands to convince the government against all odds to take strong decisions and maintain secrecy so that the people's trust will not be broken down or shattered. Sobhan did full justice to all the departments he handled.Pradeep Maddali highlighted how people of Godavari districts take rooster fights as a prestige issue and how few anti social elements take advantage of the gambling. He ensured that the narration doesnot turn into completely serious tone but told in a entertaining manner.The webseries has six episodes and the first episode starts with the introduction of lead actors and the missing of the rooster. The nnarration takes entertaining route with the investigation. All the investigation, scene recreation and others have been written in a funny manner.However, some scenes got repeated and this slowed the pace of the narration, diluting the tempo. Some scenes looked forced and some are not brought to the logical conclusion. One gets a feeling that there could have been few thrillinng scenes while revealing the antagonist. Though some clarity comes in the second half, it turns out to be routine with psychpath kind of elevations and monotonous scenes. The film lacked the natural feel and everything looks artificial in the end.Pavan Chenna's cinematography is ok. Harshavardhan Rameshwar's music also fall in the same zone. Song on mother is ok. He played the role of a loverboy with variations to perfection. He showed good expressions annd emotions according to the situation.Regina Cassandra looked raunchy on screen. She indulged in glamor treat as a foreign returned girl and played the key role in the story. Anupama Parameswaran surprises with her variations. She at the beginning showed the innocent nature and later showed variations accordinly showing the right kind of expressions and emotions. However at times in the deglamor role she overacted herself.Ajay Ghosh played the role of the police and the role is tailormade for him. He elevated the scenes with his performance during the pre climax creating a laughing riot. Others like Thagubotu Ramesh, Anish Kuruvilla performed their roles according to the narration.Mareechika (2026) Movie: Technicians ReviewMareechika Story is penned by Lakshmi Bhupala and it is directed by Satish Kasestty. The story is simple but he tried to turn it into a crime thriller adding delusional elements and also schizophrenia disease symptoms. The entire story revolves around a single point and he tries to excite viewers with confusing screenplay.To some extent he emerged successful but with the passage of time, one gets a feeling that the story is not moving any further. He tried to make up for it with hilarious scene in the police station during the preclimax. The entire first half is dragged with the love scenes featuring the lead pairs. The interval twist sets the tone for the second half. The pace picks up in the second half but the so called twists can be easily predicted.The music for the film is tuned by Ilayaraja. The songs looked like serial songs and offered nothing new. and the background music turned out to be a huge disappointment. One cannot believe that Ilayaraja scored the music for the film. The cinematography of Arvind Kannabiran is good. He showed the scenes in a realistic manner adding aesthetic elements. The editing of Junaid Siddiqui could have been better as there are many repetitive scenes that slowed the pace of the narration. Though Anupama Parameswaran came up with spirited performance, director Satish Kasetty and writer Lakshmi Bhupala came up with an outdated story. Everything turned substandard, be it the predictable twists, performances and to the top of it, the slow pace with unnecessary scenes. The substandard production values harmed the film quality. Screenplay turned out to be decent and little finetuning of the script and racy screenplay along with doing away with unnecessary elements would have added value. Considering all these elements, Cinejosh goes with a 1.5 rating for Mareechika.

Where this leads to and what role Antony Varghese (Antony Varghese Pepe) play, form the interesting part.Kattalan (2026) Movie: Artists ReviewAntony Varghese is an unknown entity to Telugu viewers except for those who watch Malayalam films on OTT. He did full justice to his role. But the moment he started delivering dialogues it looks like he is out to complete them at a go for the fear of forgetting the same.Sunil played the important role in the film. Sunil's role offered nothing new and had shades of Pushpa and the roles he played there after. Much to the surprise of all, he also gets a special song.Kabir Duhan Singh played an inconsequential role. One of the villian Parth Tiwari looks funny when he delivers dialogues. He came up with a routine and weak story and from then on it fails on all fronts. He just mixed all the scenes from various hit films and included action elements. He just followed the same template he used for KGF, Salaar and others. He looked slim and fit and his physique becomes the talking point. She deviated from her known glamor roles and performed well as a brave daughter who doesn't tolerate any injustice to anyone. She enacted high octane stunts with ease. Abhirami Gopikumar performed well as a mother who has concerns for her daughter's safety and future plans, marriage etc and the twist that comes with her role surprises all.Arun Chidambaram looked stylish in the role of a villain. Others like John Kokken performed according to their roles.Blast Zone (2026) Movie: Technicians ReviewBlast Zone story is penned by Subash K Raj. He came up with a simple story of how a family tries to protect themselves when on attack from dreaded gangsters. Many such films came earlier but Subhash K Raj narrated it in a different manner trying to send message to the society.He showed father training his daughter to be brave and not to tolerate any injustice not only to the family but others in the society despite mother expressing her own fears. He also highlighted the importance of martial arts and how it will be helpful as a self defence system.He started the narration in &nbsp;a gripping manner and then the narration and screenplay turns racy throughout the first half. The first half ends in a decent manner setting the stage for the second half. The second half also treads in a similar manner but pace dips at times and due to few repetitive and dragged scenes. The climax too turns out to be weak.Arun Radhakrishnan's cinematography is good. He used the camera angles and color combinations to perfection do give a natural and realistic feel. Ravi Basrur's background music is impactful and added value to the narration. The editing of Pradeep E Ragav is decent enough except for few drags here and there and repetitive scenes. Dialogues are thoughprovoking, inspirational and motivational. He tried to come up with an interesting story in the backdrop of futuristic world and sci fi elements. While the idea is good, he failed to execute it in a perfect manner on the screen. He lacked clarity of thought and the scenes and screenplay ends up confusing viewers.The slow pace in the narration, repetitive scenes irritates viewers to the core. People are left to wonder about the usage of CGI and VFX and this resulted as the story lacked strong human emotions. The actors are just seen passing through the motions with artificial feel.Except for the so called sci fi elements, futuristic world, VFX and CGI, the film's story turned out to be monotonous, routine and outdated.Sri Venkat &amp; Sooraj S Kurup's music and background score is just ok. Cinematography of Venu Muralidhar &amp; Ram turned the film rich with attractive visuals. The editing of Hemanth Ippalapalli left a lot to be desired. He tried to elevate the role of a psycho who is obsessed even after the girl is married and the consequences in the aftermath of it. &nbsp;He told the story from the viewpoint and the angle of a psychopath and this may not appeal to all.There are many scenes that may be uncomfortable for the viewers to watch, the violence and torture being one of them. He highlighted the darker side of the happenings in the lives of many women as many find it difficult to come forward and talk openly in public.The story offered nothing much but Pranav Swaroop penned the story highlighting the characterisation of pyschopath and it may appeal only to few.Shrie Saikumaar Daara with his cinematography gave a natural and realistic feel to the proceedings. He showed the locations using the camera angles in an apt manner. The background score of Shravan Bharadwaj elevated the scenes taking the intensity to new heights. The RR is quite good. Family Counsellor Govind (Pavan Kalyan Battula), Pastor in a Church Satti Babu (Sapthagiri), Srinu (Rajkumar Kasireddy) happen to be thick friends and they get a shock of their lives when their wives Kamala (Rayanchu Kokkura), Lakshmi (Vishika), Geetha (Hasini Suddir) decide to give immense torture and where this leads to and what role Creative Krish aka Kissu (Vennela Kishore), Devika (Aanira Gupta), French Girl Rosy (Gabi Rock), Sobhan (Pammi Sai), Lawer Ananth (Ananth Sriram) and Judge Jayaram (VTV Ganesh) play form the interesting part.Purushaha (2026) Movie: Artists ReviewPavan Kalyan on debut performed well showing ease in acting. Many films came earlier with similar concept and Veeru Vulavala tried to generate humour and entertain movie lovers with this story highlighting the frustration of the husbands. The entire first half is loaded with the fights between husband and wife and the happenings between the friends and court scenes. All those things are routine and few hilarious scenes are just ok though they are nothing new.The first half ends with the revelation of the secrets of the protagonists and the entire second half is all about them proving their innocence. The director failed to connect the emotional chords and failed to establish how a small incidents lead to divorce. Few emotions are ok but the super heroes fights looked silly and didnot workout. He tried to load the second half with intense emotions but failed to do full justice to them.He ended few roles abruptly and didnot justify few characters in the film. Climax twist is decent &nbsp;to some extent.Satish Muthyala's cinematography is good. Shrawan Bharadwaj's music is just ok and so is the background music. Editing of Koti left a lot to be desired. There are many unnecessary scenes that impacted the final output. But at time she looked artificial, pale and jaded. Despite playing the role of a blind girl, she expressed herself quite well and impressed with her screenpresence. The dialogues penned for her character are thought provoking and motivational.Surya Vashistta did well in the role of a person confined to the wheelchair and showed the trauma and agony quite well. Sreenivas Reddy got a different and impactful role and he elevated the scenes showing good emotions. Shyamala did well in the role and is impactful. He tried to send the message to the society with this emotional love story that disability shouldn't be an obstacle in the success and one shouldn't stop progressing brooding over the past happenings.The first half starts with the introduction of various characters and the blossoming of love between the lead pair before the interval twist. But the routine shades and slow pace ended up testing the patience of the viewers. The entire second half is loaded with emotional content. The twist in the pre climax is good and the climax turns out to be emotional.There are many unnecessary scenes that defies logic and also the conflict is not shown in &nbsp;a convincing manner. The relationship and connection to four kids and the granny is not shown properly.Aravind Thirukovela with his cinematography turned the scenes colorful and visually appealing on the screen. Sooraj S Kurup's songs are just average. He however made up for it with his background music adding value to the narration. Ram Jagadeesh's dialogues are relevant, interesting and motivational. Editing of Raviteja Giriala left a lot to be desired. Though the film's duration is less, the editing made it feel like the film is never ending. Meghna Gulzar’s new thriller Daayra will release in cinemas on September 18. The film stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran together for the first time. Junglee Pictures and Pen Studios are producing it together. This is the first co-production between both banners. The story is written by Yash Keswani, Sima Agarwal and Meghna Gulzar. Kareena shared a behind the scenes video on Thursday and wrote that Daayra is raw and unseen. She asked fans to wait for the film arriving on 18th September.Daayra is based on true events and will be a tight thriller about crime, justice and punishment. The plot is said to stay close to real cases that raised questions in society. Meghna Gulzar is known for making strong story films like Raazi and Talvar with Junglee Pictures.
