Ram Charan starrer Peddi directed by Buchi Babu Sana is having a massive run at the box office. The rural sports drama released on June 4 and has now completed 10 days in theatres. Makers say the film has grossed Rs 378 crore worldwide by the end of second Saturday. With Sunday shows running full and packed houses across single screens, trade expects Peddi to cross the 400 crore mark today.

The film is being called the highest grossing South Indian film and the number one grosser of 2026 so far. The main reason for this strong run is the mass content and public talk that has stayed positive since day one. While big visual films usually cross 300 crore, a pure commercial mass entertainer like Peddi doing these numbers has surprised trade circles.

The movie is holding steady even on weekdays which is rare for big releases. In Nizam and Andhra B and C centers all single screens are showing housefull boards. Ram Charan leads the film with strong performance and the cast includes Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu and Boman Irani in key roles. Vriddhi Cinemas produced the film and A R Rahman gave music that added more power to the drama.

With good occupancy continuing into the second week, Peddi is expected to add more to its total in coming days. Fans are calling it a complete mass package with action, emotion and rural backdrop that connected with audiences across centers.
