Boyapati to direct Ranveer or Rana. Boyapati Srinu is renowned for his high octane mass action entertainers. However his last film, Akhanda Thaandavam starring Balakrishna in the lead, which released amidst huge expectations turned out to be a huge disaster. This came as a shocker as the film is the sequel to the blockbuster film Akhanda.

In between rumours spread that Boyapati Srinu will be entering Bollywood. Reports came that he will be directing Ranveer Singh on his Bollywood debut. Boyapati met Ranveer Singh and narrated the story. But everything changed after the massive success of Dhurandhar. With Dhurandhar 2 all set to hit the screens, Ranveer changed his plans.

In the meantime, Boyapati according to sources is now planning to rope in Rana as the lead role for the project. With Rana , a well known face in North India, Boyapati feels that taking the project forward with Rana into Bollywood will be the  better option.
