Prabhas Joins Spirit Filming in May 2026

Prabhas and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's highly anticipated film Spirit is one of the most discussed projects in Indian cinema. The film officially went on floors late last year, but production has been paused temporarily.

The pause is due to Sandeep Reddy Vanga's focus on crucial production-related work and finalising the extended cast. Prabhas is also busy with other projects, including the final stages of Fauji (directed by Hanu Raghavapudi) and Kalki 2898 AD: Part 2.

For Spirit, Prabhas is undergoing a physical transformation to portray a fierce, lean, and intense IPS officer. The next major schedule is set to begin in the first week of May 2026, with plans for continuous shooting without major breaks.

Sandeep Vanga is known for his efficient shooting style, and the team is confident about wrapping up production on time. The project remains on track for its announced global release on March 5, 2027. Fans can expect an intense and action-packed film with Prabhas in a never seen before avatar.
