Malayalam actor, director Basil Joseph is rumored to play the son of superstar Rajinikanth in the upcoming film Thalaivar173, directed by Cibi Chakravarthy. The movie has generated immense curiosity among fans and cinephiles alike, with no official confirmation from the makers yet.

The film is expected to be a full-fledged commercial entertainer, with Priyanka Arul Mohan also in talks for a pivotal role. Cibi Chakravarthy has promised Rajinikanth's fans and family that they will be satisfied after watching Thalaivar173, saying, "I want to say only one thing with love.
