Tamannaah Ragini MMS 3 shelved

Tamannaah's Ragini MMS 3 shelved. Movie lovers got excited when Ekta Kapoor announced that she will be doing Ragini MMS3 with Tamannaah in the lead. But now it is coming out that the project has been shelved.

The makers decided to put the project on hold as the director Sahir Reza couldn't adjust his dates due to his prior commitments. The Ragini MMS franchise started off in 2011 with Rajkummar Rao and Kainaz Motivala, followed by Ragini MMS 2 in 2014. The sequel is known for the song Baby Doll featuring Sunny Leone. A recent report suggested that the makers are now looking to recreate the magic of that song with Tamannaah Bhatia in the third part.

The sources revealed  "Raza is currently serving as showrunner on a Netflix series. A recent mandate from the streaming platform requires the showrunner's daily presence on set. This requirement has created a scheduling overlap with Ragini MMS 3, forcing the team to part ways with the director."

The source shared , "This development has left Ekta Kapoor's film temporarily stranded, with no clarity on its production timeline. Although they are actively looking for a replacement director, the film doesn't seem to be starting anytime soon, marking a significant hurdle for the franchise."
