Distributors mega plans to recover The Raja Saab investment. Prabhas -Maruthi's horror entertainer The Raja Saab is releasing on 9 January 2026. Expectations are high and the film did a record pre release business.

Now, the distributors are coming up with a master plan to recover the investment. A source shared " The film’s theatrical rights in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have been sold for Rs 180 crore, making it one of the highest deals ever for a Telugu star in the two states. This is the biggest price ever paid for a Prabhas film in the Telugu market.”

Revealing the reason behind it, the source shared “Prabhas earlier blockbusters like Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD were reportedly sold for under Rs 160 crore in the Telugu states. This time, despite being a horror comedy, The Raja Saab has struck a fancy deal.”

The source revealed distributors mega fans saying “Openings are extremely crucial for star-driven films of this scale. With Prabhas’ crowd-pulling ability, the distributors are aiming for a wide release to ensure strong initial collections and recover their investment quickly.”
