Vana Veera (2025) Movie: Story Review

Vana Veera story revolves around a youngster and his connection with the bike and what it has got to do with the Vanara clan and the Ramayana.  Raghu (Avinash Thiruveedhula) born in Varapuram, Godavari district is insulted due to his low caste origins by everyone and especially politicians.

His life takes a drastic turn when the supporters of Deva (Shree Nandu) take his bike for political rally. Where this leads to and what role beautiful girl Indu (Simran Chaudhary), Raghu's father (Sivaji Raja), Police Officer (Satya) played and what is the connection of his bike to Ramayana form the interesting twist.

Vana Veera (2025) Movie: Artists Review

Avinash Thiruveedhula performed well in the role. He performed well in the action sequences. He should however work hard on his emotions and expressions to reach the next level.

Simran Chowdhary looked good on the screen. But she didnot get any screen presence or opportunity to showcase her acting talent. Her role is just limited. Satya is ok and evoked few laughs. Shree Nandu performed well in his role.

Amani, Sivaji Raja, and Kona Venkat performed according to their roles.

Vana Veera (2025) Movie: Technicians Review

Vana Veera story is readied by Avinash Thiruveedhula. He tried to attract viewers with the story that has blend of mythological elements in the action entertainer.

Avinash  decided to follow the recent trend in Tollywood with the story but if these things are not done propely, everything will go awry. The same thing happened with Vana Veera. He tried to highlight the caste differentiations and discrimination in the village backdrop blending it with the happenings in Ramayana.

He starts the narration in an interesting way with the Lord Hanuman's voice over after the battle of Lord Ram and Ravana. Later the various characters along with the antagonist is introduced but the story picks up pace with the fight for MLA elections. But there the narration loses pace with silly and unnecessary elements. But slowly the pace picks up and the first half ends with high octane intense action sequence.

The entire second half boils down to the fight between the antagonist and protagonist but all those looks outdated lacking any seriousness. The entry of Satya during the preclimax evokes few laughs.

The music tuned by Vivek Sagar failed completely. None of the songs register in the mind. But he elevated few scenes with his background music. Chota K Prasad's editing could have been better as there are many unnecessary and unwanted scenes. The cinematography of Sujatha Siddharth is good. Production values are ok.

Vana Veera (2025) Movie: Advantages

  • Few Twists

Vana Veera (2025) Movie: Disadvantages

  • Missing Emotions
  • Predictable Screenplay

Vana Veera (2025) Movie: Rating Analysis

Altogether, Vana Veera turns out to be mediocre political drama with mythological touch. Avinash Thiruveedhula came up with a good concept and idea but he failed completely with his execution. He tried to prove the point that those who fight for justice, have Lord Hanuman's backing but he passed the entire first half with outdated scenes and sluggish screenplay.

The film's story is mostly in the second half. Few twists and cameo is fine but screenplay turns slow testing the patience of the viewers. He used AI quite effectively but the lack of emotions and commercial elements disappoints all. Considering all these elements, Cinejosh goes with a 2 to Vana Veera.
