The production house of Dhanush’s upcoming film, tentatively titled D54, has issued an urgent appeal to fans, asking them not to circulate any leaked footage from the sets. A recent video clip that surfaced on social media prompted Vels Film International to post on X (formerly Twitter), “We request our dear fans to support us by not sharing any footage from the sets of #D54. Your cooperation means everything!” The plea underscores the studio’s commitment to preserving the film’s mystique as it nears completion.
Earlier this month, the makers confirmed that principal photography has wrapped up and the movie is slated for a February 2026 release. This project marks the second collaboration between director Vignesh Raja and writer Alfred Prakash, following their successful venture Por Thozhil.
The first poster, which showed Dhanush standing in a burning field, sparked intense curiosity and featured the tagline, “Sometimes staying dangerous is the only way to stay alive,” hinting at an action driven narrative. The cast of D54.boasts a strong lineup, with Dhanush joined by Mamitha Baiju, Jayaram, Suraj Venjaramoodu, K.S. Ravikumar, Karunas, Prithvi Pandiarajan, Kushmitha, and Nitin Sathiya in pivotal roles.
On the technical front, the film is powered by GV Prakash’s music, Theni Easwar’s cinematography, and Srijith Sarang’s editing. Produced by Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh under Vels Film International, the project promises a blend of gripping storytelling and high‑octane visuals. The movie’s February 2026 release window positions it strategically ahead of the summer season, giving it ample time for extensive promotional campaigns.
