The makers of director and actor Vishal's eagerly awaited action entertainer 'Magudam' / 'Makutam' have disclosed that the unit is now in the process of shooting a massive climax sequence featuring around 100 stunt men. This marks a significant milestone in the film's production, with Vishal taking on dual roles as actor and director.
The action sequence is being shot in Chennai, with an impressive team of 800 crew members. Vishal Film Factory, the production house, shared a video clip showcasing the intense action sequence, highlighting the film's grand scale. Vishal has also begun dubbing for the film, which is his 35th project and directorial debut.
Makutam boasts an exceptional technical team, including acclaimed cinematographer Richard M. Nathan, music composer G.V. Prakash Kumar, editor NB Srikanth, art director Durairaj, and costume designer Vasuki Bhaskar. Actress Dushara Vijayan, who plays one of the heroines, has already completed shooting for her portions.
Vishal's decision to direct 'Magudam' / 'Makutam' was driven by a sense of responsibility, following creative differences with original director Ravi Arasu. The team has completed its third schedule in Ooty and begun the final schedule in Chennai's TR Gardens. With post-production work progressing, 'Magudam' / 'Makutam' is set to be an action packed entertainer, featuring Vishal, Dushara Vijayan, and Anjali in lead roles.
