Kantara Chapter 1 Streaming On Prime Video

Kantara Chapter 1, the prequel to the 2022 blockbuster Kantara, continues to dominate the box office, with its worldwide collection standing at ₹850+ crore as of October 30, 2025. Directed by Rishab Shetty, the film has become the highest grossing Indian film of 2025, surpassing Chhaava (805+ crs).

The film's success can be attributed to its pan-India release strategy, with versions in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. Kantara Chapter 1 has broken multiple records, including the highest first Saturday collection of 2025, with ₹55 crore. Telugu version contributed 110+ crores gross.

The film has now made its OTT debut on Prime Video, available in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam languages. The Hindi version is expected to arrive in the last week of November, promising good viewership.

Kantara Chapter 1 boasts a star studded cast, including Rishab Shetty, Jayaram, Rukmini Vasanth, and Gulshan Devaiah. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda under Hombale Films, the film's music is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath.

With its impressive box office run, Kantara Chapter 1 has become the second highest grossing Kannada film of all time, only behind KGF Chapter 2. Its success is a testament to Rishab Shetty's direction and the film's gripping storyline.
