Vidyut Jammwal flexing his muslces in Hollywood flick. Vidyut Jamwal is known for his high octane action entertainers. He is set to show his power in the Hollywood flick Stree Fighter. Currently the film's shooting is currently underway in Australia and he is playing the role of iconic yogic fighter Dhalsim.

Speaking about his role, he said “It’s as if I prepared throughout my life for this role. The Almighty has aligned everything. People wrote me off after Crakk (2024), but with blessings and manifestation, anything is possible,”

Vidyut Jamwal added “When the film didn’t work, I went to my guruji, Dr HR Nagendra, at S-Vyasa University (Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana) in Bengaluru. He did extensive tests on me based on skills. He advised me to go international and spread yoga in a big way. Soon after, I auditioned for Street Fighter — and it turned out to be for a yogic fighter! Representing Indian yog in Hollywood is a blessing.”

Dhalsim according to Vidyut Jamwal is the direct disciple of Lord Parashuram,” and added “He fights not for money or fame but for a cause and for humanity.” The film is helmed by Japanese-American filmmaker Kitao Sakurai, is based on Capcom’s classic Street Fighter video game series.

The film also stars WWE star Cody Rhodes, Olivier Richters and Roman Renes, rapper Curtis Jackson ‘50 Cents’, actors Jason Mehuma, Andrew Koji, Noah Centineo and David Dastmalchian to name a few.

Vidyut Jamwal revealed “Next year, it will be having one of the biggest worldwide releases in India as well.”  and shared “A lot has gone in my gaming looks but content and fight wise it has been smooth. Probably, it's as if I have been trained throughout my life for this. The Almighty has aligned everything, with manifestation anything can happen. People wrote me off after Crakk and were saying nothing will happen! H’wood is difficult and different and I have never thought about it but it did happen with the blessing of my guruji.”
