Ghaati To Stream On This OTT From This Week

Anushka Shetty's action-drama film Ghaati has been acquired by Amazon Prime Video for its digital release. After underperforming at the box office with a net collection of ₹6.72 crore against a budget of ₹40-50 crore, the film is expected to premiere on Prime Video in the first week of October 2025, roughly four weeks after its theatrical debut on September 5, 2025.

Ghaati revolves around drug peddlers, with Anushka Shetty and Vikram Prabhu in lead roles. The film marks a significant departure from Shetty's previous roles, showcasing her in a full-fledged action film. However, the role has received mixed reviews, with critics pointing out flaws in her performance and appearance. The film's predictable storyline and lackluster execution also contributed to its poor reception among audiences.

The deal between Amazon Prime Video and the filmmakers is reportedly a record breaking one, marking the highest digital deal in Anushka Shetty's career. This acquisition will likely help the filmmakers recover a significant portion of their budget. Ghaati will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video with a U/A rating and a runtime of 2 hours and 37 minutes.

Ghaati features an ensemble cast, including Anushka Shetty, Vikram Prabhu, Chaitanya Rao Madadi, Jagapathi Babu, Jisshu Sengupta, and John Vijay. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the film has been produced by Yeduguru Rajeev Reddy and Saibabu Jagarlamudi under First Frame Entertainments, with UV Creations presenting the project.
