Father defends Khushboo on her remarks after firing incident

It is known that people got a huge shock when gunshots were fired at Disha Patani house in UP and The Goldy Brar gang has claimed responsibility stating that it will not tolerate any insults or attacks on Hindu priests.

This happened after Disha Patani's sister Khushboo Patani's comments on  Premanand Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Maharaj. Now following the incident, father Jagdish Patani reacted to the developments.

He said "Two unidentified assailants fired at my residence...Police are making all possible efforts... Bareilly Police, SSP, and ADG are all working on it...The gunshots are not indigenous; they are foreign-made...I think 8-10 rounds were fired...I came to know through social media that Goldy Brar has taken its responsibility, but it is not clear yet..."

He added that his daughter Khushboo's comments were misrepresented. He added "Khushboo was misrepresented. Her name was dragged into the matter of Premanand Ji Maharaj. We are Sanatanis, and we respect the sadhus and saints. If someone is misrepresenting her statement, it is a conspiracy to demean us"

SSP Bareilly, Anurag Arya,said "We received information about the firing at retired CO Jagdish Patani's residence by two unidentified motorbike-borne assailants. Police teams were immediately sent to the site. An FIR has been registered at the Kotwali police station under various sections. Armed police personnel have been deployed for the protection of the family members,"
