Ilayaraja offers Diamond Crown to Goddess Mookambika. Sri Mookambika temple and Sri Veerabhadra Swamy temple in Kollur, Karnataka are renowned and considered extremely powerful. Ilayaraja visited the temple and offered the diamond studded crown to Goddess Mookambika.

The diamond crown is worth Rs 30crs and it was placed on the head of Goddess Mookambika by Shri Raghaveshwara Bharati Swami of Sri Ramachandrapura Mutt during the alankara seva. Ilayaraja's gesture is winning the hearts of all. It is coming out that Ilayaraja also donated a silver crown along with a sword to Sri Veerabhadra Swamy.

This is not the first time, Ialayaraja offered to the temples and even earlier he offered a diamond crown to Goddess Mookambika. The temple preists accoded him a grand welcome as per the traditions and blessed him after the rituals.

Ilayaraja said “I don’t speak, I work. You can see my old history to know about my connection to this place. Today, for what we came, that work has been done. Let Goddess bless you all,”

Senior priest Sridhar Adiga said “He has donated many ornaments in the past as well. Today again, he has given valuable offerings. May the Goddess bless everyone.”
