Aishwarya Rai approach HC against misuse of her photos

Killer beauty Aishwarya Rai approached Delhi High Court with a plea seeking its direction to restrain people against using her name and images. High Court bench headed by justice Tejas Karia went on record that he will soon  issue further directions for the takedown of URLs infringing upon Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s personality rights.

He said “We’ll pass an order against each of the defendants (to take down the URLs), because prayers are broad. But we will grant injunctions separately,”

Aishwarya Rai's advocates Pravin Anand and Dhruv Anand approached High Court with the plea on her behalf. Senior advocate Sandeep Sethi  said “Her name and image are being used to satisfy someone’s sexual desires,” Her case entailed allegations surrounding misuse of her Ai-generated pictures, names, resemblance, and personality for financial as well as sexual means.

The case was now postponed for further hearing before the Joint Registrar on November 7, 2025, with a further listing before the court itself on January 15, 2026.
