How T CM Revanth Reddy agreed to HHVM ticket hikes. Right after the tragic incident of Sandhya theatre stampede during Pushpa The Rule premier show screening which resulted in the death of a woman and her son injured seriously, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy fired on all cylinders in the Assembly.
He held Allu Arjun responsible for the entire incident and police slapped cases and sent him packing to jail. In the assembly Revanth Reddy thundered that in Telangana till he is in power as CM , he will not allow benefit shows, premier shows and ticket hikes. He said he will not allow film stars to have their way and added that they can do their businesses but will not allow them play with the lives of the people.
During that time, owing to the rivalry, mega fans and Pawan Kalyan fans trolled Allu Arjun mercilessly branding him a murderer. Now it turned a full circle and much to the shock of all, CM Revanth Reddy gave permission not only for the benefit shows but also hike in ticket rates of Pawan Kalyan's upcoming entertainer Hari Hara Veera Mallu. What is more surprising all is Hari Hara Veera Mallu got the permission to hike the ticket rates the highest compared to the previous films, be it Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD, NTR's Devara, Allu Arjun's Pushpa The Rule and Ram Charan's Game Changer.
One can understand Game Changer ticket hike as Dil Raju shares good relationship with the powers that be. Now producer of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, AM.Ratnam speaking to scribes said the government didnot give permission for the hike in ticket rates. However due to Ronit Reddy, everything changed and government gave the green signal for ticket rates hike and also benefit shows.
Ronit Reddy is a powerful leader in the Congress and is close to CM Revanth Reddy. He contested from Amberpet in 2023 assembly elections but lost. He produced Sai Dharam Tej's Thikka.
