Akhil Lenin to take on honor killings. Akkineni Prince Akhil is getting ready to show his power at the box office with his upcoming action entertainer Lenin. The film directed by Murali Kishore Abburu of Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha fame is progressing at a brisk pace.

Akhil is pinning his hopes on this film as his previous films failed to take off at the box office. Now reports are coming that the film touches upon the controversial and sensitive topic of honour killings. Many such films came earlier in Tollywood and it has to be seen what the makers offers new to the movie lovers.

Akhil transformed his look for the film and will be seen delivering dialogues in Rayalaseema accent. The film also has another interesting plot revolving around a temple. The film stars Sreeleela as the female lead with Thaman being the music director.

Naga Vamsi’s Sithara Entertainments and Nagarjuna’s Annapurna Studios are bankrolling the project in a prestigious manner. Plans are on to release the film on 14 November 2025.
