Genelia differs with Deepika on 8 hrs. All hell broke loose when Deepika Padukone was shunted out to Prabhas' Spirit directed by Sandeep Vanga. While Sandeep Vanga claimed that Deepika came up with shocking conditions that she wouldn't be shooting for more than 8 hours, refused to dub her Telugu lines and demanded share in the profits.

Following this, many came in support of Deepika and even spread rumours that Spirit was an A rated movie and the film has intimate scenes forcing Deepika to walk out of the project.

In the midst of all this, Genelia speaking to scribes on working for ten hours, said "tough but not impossible." She added "It is tough but it is not impossible. I do work for 10 hours a day and there are days when the director asks to extend it to 11 or 12 hours. I think it's fair but we just need time to make those adjustments. When you have a day or two where you have to overdo, it's also an understanding and a process that needs to be done."
