Kannappa makers postpone trailer launch. Manchu Vishnu is coming to entertain movie lovers with his devotional film Kannappa. The film directed by Mahabharat fame Mukesh Kumar Singh is slated for release on 27 June 2025.
The makers planned to release the film's trailer on 13 June 2025. However, Manchu Vishnu decided to postpone the trailer launch as An Air India Boeing 787 Dream liner aircraft crashed in Meghani area, Gujarat which is now turning out to be the biggest aviation tragedy in Indian history.
Sharing his emotions, "My heart breaks for the lives lost in today’s Ahmedabad Air India crash. In deep mourning, we’re deferring the #Kanappa trailer release by one day and cancelling tomorrow’s Indore pre‑release event. My prayers are with the families during this unimaginably difficult time."
The film stars Preity Mukundan as the female lead while Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, Kajal are playing powerful cameos. The music for the film is tuned by Stephen Devassy.
