Legends of Indian silver screen Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam are coming together with Thug Life. The film is slated for a spectacular release on 5 June 2025 across the world.
Expectations are increasing on the film as Kamal and Mani Ratnam are coming together after a long gap of more than three decades. The makers today released the film's trailer and it is loaded with interesting and intense action elements. The two minute trailer opens with striking and different backdrops and Kamal is seen in the role of Rangaraya Sakthivel Naickar a feared gangster who was presumed to be dead.
He was saved by his father played by Silambarasan who played the role of his father Amar. Kamal Haasan and Simbu's face off turns out to be interesting and exciting. Trisha, Abhirami, Nasser, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Gautham Karthik, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Vaiyapuri are playing important roles in the film.
Kamal himself penned the story for the film for which music is tuned by Rahman while cinematography is taken care of by Ravi K Chandran. The film is bankrolled on Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies, and Red Giant Movies.
